A5 sketchbook, dating from my time studying on the ND Audio-Visual Design course at City College Manchester [1996]. The sketchbook is mostly empty or filled with scribbles of the written variety, but begins with these pages, doodling out some ideas for an interactive CDrom, based on a recent college exchange visit we’d made to Córdoba in Spain. I think this would have been a self-directed project, as I dinnae remember it being an official college brief. Whatever the story, I’m pretty sure it ended up never seeing the light of day.

There’s also a couple of doodles for an interactive CDrom CV, which I remember did get made, so possibly the Córdoba CDrom idea was an initial one for that project. Who knows? –it’s all a very long time ago!
